How to use Blocked Elements

When translating a website, you'll likely encounter elements on the page that don't need to be translated, such as URL handles, source code, or special symbol elements. The "Blocked elements" feature was created to solve this problem.

How to use "Blocked elements"

- Go Translation rule => Blocked Elements

Blocking SEO translation

Note
Those elements including URL handles, Meta title and Meta description are blocked by default, so you will not see them on the page containing them such as product, collection or blog post pages. In case you want to see and translate it, please disable it

Other blocked elements

- It contains blocked elements such as product title or description which you want to block on product page as example

- Please go needed resources such as product page => select the specific element product title => Hover the icon translation => Click on "Block element translation"

- Once it's blocked => you can go to Translation rule to manage it => Blocked elements => it shows on "other blocked elements". In case you want to restore this element, please click on the icon "garbage can" to remove block
