How to use Usage charge for AI translation tool

Usage Charge is a payment model based on a user's actual consumption when using AI translation tool without API key. To use it, the user needs to pre-approve a maximum fee (cap), allowing the application to automatically deduct charges when they use features subject to Usage Charge without requiring payment confirmation for each individual use, which could be inconvenient and disrupt the user experience. Here's how to find and understand it:

Accessing Usage Charge Settings

Go to Account & Setting in your Transcy dashboard
Tap on Subscription.
Click on Usage charge to settings

Transaction History and Billing Cycle

You can check transaction as well as payment history by clicking on the button "Payment history"

Usage charges accumulate throughout your billing cycle (30 days).

They are billed together with your recurring subscription fee at the end of the cycle.

At the start of each new billing cycle, your usage count is reset to 0, and the charging process restarts.

Applicable Features : Usage charge currently applies to Manage translation and Things to translate. It is not yet applicable for Auto translation

Note:
- Usage charge is exclusively available for users on Monthly plans
- There's no warning pop-up for each translation use because the usage charge automatically approves translation invoices until reaching a monthly cap

Important Considerations:

- Trial Period: Users in their trial period cannot use the Usage charge option. They need to wait until the trial ends. If they want to use this option, they can use Top-up balance.

- Plan Switching (Monthly to Yearly/Yearly to Monthly): If a user is using the Usage charge option and switches to a Yearly plan (or vice-versa), the option will be updated to One-time charge.

- Plan Downgrades/Upgrades:
Scenario 1: Downgrading/Upgrading Between Paid Plans (Same Billing Cycle): When a user approves the charge for the new plan, the cap amount will reset to the default of $1,000
Scenario 2: Downgrading to the Free Plan: The usage charge will be canceled.
