How to use Automate Translation

You already translated whole your store in target languages completely but later then you might have added more pages or changed some new contents on those translated pages, the Automate Translation function will help you a lot in updating the new translation for those new contents already changed promptly.

Please be advised that Automate Translation feature is available from Growth plan and above.

1. How to set up Automate Translation


Example: You have changed the product title of a product page in Shopify (default language) and already set up Automate Translation function for that product page, the app will detect new content of the product title and translate that new title automatically to update your product translation in target languages.

Go to Translation menu --> Automate Translation --> click on Set up now



Choose the target language you want to set up Automate Translation



Choose the page type as Product page => Select the relevant product pages adding to the list





Note:
- If you haven't translated your content yet, the Automate Translation feature will not instantly translate those contents. You'll need to create translations for the first time by going the "Manage Translation" section
- "Auto sync new pages": Enable the feature to sync data whenever a new product is added. It will be automatically translated in app without doing any action manually. In addtion, the translation for those new pages are translated by Google translation
- For auto update translation: In case you changed some new default contents, their translation will be updated by their corresponding AI translation tool:
+ OpenAI, DeepL and Gemini WITH API key: the updated translation will be based on their own AI translation tool
+ OpenAI, and Gemini WITHOUT API key, Baidu, Yandex, DeepSeek, Grok, Manual translate: the updated translation will be based on Google translation



Publish added pages in list to make Automate translation work



In case downgrading plan, page's status will be Unpublish by default, you need to publish the page according to your plan limitation to make it active with Automate Translation function. Click here to learn more function limit on per plan and check here about cases in upgrading/downgrading plan.

You can only publish Product/Collection/Other page to Automate Translation list according to your added Page number limit on each plan. For instance, you're in Growth plan, you can add up to 10 Product pages and 10 Collection pages to Automate Translation list, so you can only publish the Page number based on this limit. If you reach the limit, you can't add/publish more. In this case, we recommend you should upgrade to a higher plan to get more pages published or buy more resource quota to extend the limit.

On this setting, you can select the target languages by publishing or unpublishing to work with selected pages
